Terms and conditions
The terms for windows and doors supplied and fitted by DVM Windows. Your written quote sets out the details of your job. Last updated October 2026.
Draft for the demo site. Items marked "to come" are being confirmed, and DVM Windows will sign off the final wording before the site goes live.
Who we are
DVM Windows is the trading name of DVM Services (UK) Ltd, company number 15484873, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Unit 17 Springfield Road, Hayes, UB4 0LE.
VAT number: to come.
Quotes and surveys
A rough quote is based on the sizes and photos you send us. Before anything is ordered we carry out a site survey and take exact measurements, and your final quote is based on that survey. If you would rather we worked to your final sizes, we will ask you to confirm them in writing, and you are responsible for them.
Made to measure
Every window and door is made to measure for your openings, in the colour, glass and hardware set out on your quote. Because of that, made-to-measure products can't be returned once the order is placed. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.
Payment
- A deposit of 50% of the order value is due when you place the order.
- The balance is due before delivery.
- You can pay by bank transfer or card.
Lead times and fitting
We give you a lead time when you place the order. Lead times are estimates and depend on our availability and on the products and colours chosen; special colours take longer. We will keep you told about your fitting date.
Cancelling
Where the law gives you a right to cancel, such as the 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for contracts agreed away from our premises, we will explain it when you place your order. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
Guarantee
Every installation we carry out comes with a 10-year installation guarantee. Manufacturer guarantees on the products themselves are set out on your quote. Whether the installation guarantee is insurance-backed: to come.
Photographs
We may photograph finished work for our website and portfolio. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we won't. We never publish your address.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
